I love Christmas, but I'm terrible when it comes to writing about it. This was written just a couple of days ago. I apologize in advance....

The Shepherd’s King

Breaking

Through the night

An angel gave

The news to shepherds

These shepherds

Found the king

Not in a palace

But a stable

This king

Gave his life

For the broken

The poor

The lost

A king

For the despairing

He still calls

To the wounded

Come, be at peace.
